I'm a 'proper old school' local electrician as my dad would say. When I say 'old school', I mean completing a proper full four-year electrical apprenticeship with the local electricity board. As a teenage apprentice, I was sent to the wholesalers to buy Tartan paint, ask for a long weight and told to a buy spirit level bubbles. That's what apprentices are for!

That was in 1997 which seems a long time ago. I completed all of my exams with distinctions which meant I got 17 pence more an hour than those who didn't get distinctions. 17p!

When I eventually started working for myself as an approved electrician, I wanted to be the best local electrician around and certainly the best electrician in Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa and surrounding areas, focussing on great customer service. I've worked on some truly fabulous jobs and even worked with Laurence Llewlyn Bowen on his TV show.

There's a shortage good local electricians and skilled tradespeople these days, especially ones who truly care about their customers and the service they provide. That's where I stand out.

So, if you're sat there asking yourself "I wonder who the best electricians near me are" or you just need to find an electrician in your area, then pick up the phone.

I've got two lovely boys who are 11 and 9 who may become electricians themselves.

I love my job and helping people with their electrical installations and repairs. Hopefully, I can get the chance to help you too.

Any professional electrician that you employ to carry out electrical work for you should be fully and suitably qualified. I constantly have to take refresher courses and my work is vetted every year by the NICEIC.

For your peace of mind, here are my qualifications.
